BACnet/SC stands for secure communication in building automation – but in practice it often leads to uncertainty, particularly when it comes to certificates.
In this advanced seminar, our trainers from SE and MBS tackle precisely these challenges. As part of a first-time collaboration, two trainers combine their expertise from real-world projects and extensive training experience.
The result: a practical format from which participants clearly benefit from this dual wealth of experience.
This seminar is aimed at anyone who not only wants to understand BACnet/SC but also wants to be able to use it confidently.
After that day:
The focus is clearly on practical application, implementation and sharing experiences – not on dry theory.

German:
Jannick Schroeder is a state-certified IT technician and has been part of the technical team at SE-Elektronic since 2017. In the technical support department, he works on a daily basis on projects relating to building automation, SE devices, software tools and BACnet.
Since 2019, he has also been sharing his knowledge with system partners and customers in his role as a trainer – in a practical, accessible way that is always closely aligned with real-world requirements.
In addition, Jannick has been working as a technical trainer since August 2022, combining technical expertise with teaching experience.
His focus: explaining complex technology in simple terms – and making it immediately applicable.
Justin Hentschel is a mechatronics engineer and has been working at MBS since 2022. He has gained his expertise through providing support and commissioning real-world projects – and it is precisely this practical experience that he brings directly to his training courses.
Since 2024, he has been delivering training courses on BACnet, BACnet/SC, Modbus and other bus protocols.
Due to high demand, he has been Head of Training on a full-time basis since 1 January 2026 and is responsible for expanding the range of training courses.
His style: interactive, humorous and consistently practical.
No problem! On 1 September 2026, we are offering a seminar on the basics. This means you can gain comprehensive, practical knowledge of BACnet in just two days.
